These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Intel e-medix platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Intel e-medix Systems ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Intel e-medix is a clinical intelligence platform that securely structures and explains the findings contained in medical reports (pathology, imaging, dermatology, lab, and similar) in plain, guideline-referenced language. The Service is delivered as a digital, online-only software service — no physical goods are shipped. It is an informational tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide a diagnosis, and does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. Clinicians and clinics using the Service must hold the appropriate licensure and patient consent to upload protected health information. You further represent that you are not located in, and will not use the Service from, any country or region subject to comprehensive trade sanctions (including those maintained by the U.S., EU, or UK), and that you are not listed on any government denied-party or sanctions list.
3. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@intelemedix.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content for which you do not have the right or consent to process;
- Use the Service to deliver medical advice to third parties as a substitute for licensed care;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass technical safeguards;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its output without written permission;
- Use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or harassing purpose.
5. Medical Disclaimer
Analyses generated by the Service are educational. They are not a diagnosis and must not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions. Always consult a qualified clinician about any abnormal finding or symptom.
6. Privacy & Data Handling
Our handling of personal and health data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that processing. Uploaded files are cryptographically erased 48 hours after upload unless retained explicitly by an organization-level configuration.
7. Pricing, Payments, Credits & Merchant of Record
All prices are listed on the Pricing page and are quoted and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST is added at checkout based on your billing location.
Merchant of Record. Payments for the Service are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy (operated by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, a Stripe company). Lemon Squeezy handles order processing, payment authorization, fraud screening, invoicing, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes. The name "Lemon Squeezy* Intel e-medix" (or a similar descriptor) may appear on your card or bank statement.
Credit purchases & consumption. The Service uses a prepaid credit model. Credits are added to your account balance immediately upon successful payment. One (1) credit is consumed per standard report analysis; complex documents such as hospital facesheets consume three (3) credits. Current consumption rules are displayed at checkout and inside your dashboard. Purchased credits do not expire for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase and have no cash value outside the Service.
Subscriptions. If you purchase a recurring plan, your payment method will be automatically charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing billing@intelemedix.com; cancellation stops future renewals and you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
Delivery. Digital delivery is immediate: credits appear in your account, and report analyses are generated on demand and made available inside your dashboard as soon as processing completes (typically within 20–90 seconds).
Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, models, dictionary entries, content, and brand assets, is owned by Intel e-medix Systems and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the medical files you upload and the analyses derived from them; you grant us only the limited license necessary to operate the Service for you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intel e-medix Systems is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Intel e-medix Systems is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in that jurisdiction, except where prohibited by applicable consumer law. EU/UK consumers retain all non-waivable statutory rights.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
